A late ninteenth century French carraige clock made in
Paris for : Geo. W. Welsh & son, New York.

The beautiful brass case has fluted pillars, adjustable
handle and a fine gilt floral mask framing the ivory dial. The circular
dial is surrounded with a latticed overlay of flowers and scrolls. The
dial center has another intricate overlay design. The top and bottom of
the case has embossed matching inserts.

Four ringed bun feet and finials add to the quality of
this case. The case has original bevelled glass on all four
sides and top of footed case. A distinct and beautiful addition to
any decor.
The ivory dial is signed: Geo. W. Welsh &
Son, New York
The eight day movement is time and alarm, striking on
the silvered cast bell in the bottom of the case. The subsidiary
alarm dial having exceptional executed raised numbers. The clock is serviced
and running excellent.
