An exceptional fine rosewood Austrian Biedermeier Vienna regulator of 8 day running duration.
The elegant case flourishes with superb carving and lovely proportions throughout.
The crown of the clock adds to its intrensic beauty.The front door of the case has a keyed lock at the left side of case. Large brass levellers keep the clock in place.

The two-piece porcelain dial , 7 inches in diameter, is surrounded by a fancy gilt cast brass pie-crust bezel . The hands are blued steel.
Beat indicator is porcelain .The pendulum rod is wooden and the brass pendulum bob has a brass back.

The original movement is grand sonnerie striking- ( striking the full hours and each four quarters)
The three brass weights are suspended on 'five star pulleys'.
