GERMAN WALL REGULATOR   -circa 1875

An original wall regulator clock in a beautiful walnut case. The backboard has an ebony insert with molding. There is a signed cast mounted plate with the letters G. B.  embossed.
The back plate of the eight day movement are signed : with two stamps/ Freib Schl,Boehm/
and Medaille D'or. The serial number stamp on back plate is--243816, dating the clock 1875.

There are three quarter side pillars attached to the door of the case, with corinthian capitols and acanthus leaves at the base. Fine carving is carried out to the very base of the case. Also a porcelain beat indicator.
The movement is in fine running order. The pulleys are four star.

The two piece dial is porcelain.
A truly fine and elaborate wall regulator.
